This ornate, oval-shaped brooch is crafted from gold-toned metal, indicated by visible hallmarks “9” and “375” for 9-karat gold, along with a “T” in a shield and a Birmingham assay office anchor mark. The design features a scalloped outer border with intricate foliate and architectural detailing, framing a central raised oval panel. This central panel is decorated with a star-like motif composed of a single round red stone surrounded by six small white pearls. All visible stones are present.
