The obverse side is deeply stamped with a series of hallmarks: “AD” within an oval cartouche (maker’s mark), followed by a crown symbol in a square cartouche (standard mark for gold), then the number “375” in a rectangular cartouche (fineness mark for 9 carat gold), a leopard’s head symbol in a square cartouche (London assay office mark), and finally the letter “B” within a stylized shield cartouche (date letter for 1977). The reverse side of the pendant is plain and unmarked.
