Description
A Pair of Royal Worcester Palissy Fruit Bud Vases. Each ceramic vase features a flared rim, a tapering neck, and a bulbous body resting on a circular foot. They are adorned with multi-colored fruit and leaf motifs, rendered in warm, autumnal tones against a cream background, and accented with gold trim on their rims and bases. The underside of one vase displays a backstamp indicating “PALISSY” and “A ROYAL WORCESTER COMPANY,” with “EST 1853” and the pattern name “FRUIT.” An additional marking “8-1” is also present.
