A 2000 The Queen Mother Centenary Crown Five Pound Commemorative Coin, presented within its original commemorative cardstock booklet or folder. The predominantly maroon cover features a black and white photographic portrait of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, with visible text reading “Queen Elizabeth THE QUEEN MOTHER” and “CENTENARY CROWN”. Inside, the circular, silver-toned metallic coin is securely housed. The coin’s obverse displays a profile bust of the Queen Mother adorned with a tiara and necklace, encircled by the inscription “QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER 1900-2000” and her monogram “Elizabeth R”. Further text within the booklet indicates the coin commemorates her 100th birthday in 2000 and credits Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS, FSNAD for the designs.
