A 2017 Brilliant Uncirculated Falkland Islands Penguins 50p Christmas Presentation Set. This contemporary set comprises a teal-colored festive card, featuring “Season’s Greetings” text, white snowflakes, and a cartoon design of penguins at the bottom, one holding a Christmas tree and another pulling a sleigh. Embedded within the card is a central heptagonal 50 pence coin. The coin, detailed in uncirculated Cupro Nickel with a diamond finish, depicts five colorized penguins around a lamppost, inscribed with “CHRISTMAS” and “50”. The reverse of the presentation card serves as a Certificate of Authenticity, specifying the coin as legal tender issued by the Falkland Islands, limited to an issue of 7,500 pieces. The certificate also details the coin’s metal type, diameter, and weight, along with signatures from the Pobjoy Mint Master and the Financial Secretary of the Falkland Islands.
