A framed black and white ink drawing on paper depicting a detailed architectural scene of the historical building complex, ‘Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem’, also identified by visible text as ‘The Oldest Inn in England’, with additional signs reading ‘Free House’ and ‘Brewhouse Yard’. The drawing features a handwritten inscription at the bottom left stating ‘Trip to Jerusalem Nottingham. The oldest inn in England (1189)’, and is signed ‘J. Mitchell’ at the bottom right. The artwork is presented under glass within a dark, possibly wooden or composite, ornate frame.
