The drawing features a handwritten inscription at the bottom left stating ‘Trip to Jerusalem Nottingham. The oldest inn in England (1189)’, and is signed ‘J. Mitchell’ at the bottom right. The artwork is presented under glass within a dark, possibly wooden or composite, ornate frame.
