A collection of Queen Elizabeth II decimal fifty pence commemorative coins, comprising 50 heptagonal (seven-sided) silver-colored metal coins. The coins are housed within a clear, multi-pocketed plastic coin album designed for a ring-binder, with each side of the double-sided album displaying 25 distinct issues. The coins are marked ’50 PENCE’ or ’50p’ on their reverses and feature the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with the inscription ‘ELIZABETH II D G REG F D’ on many obverses. Visible dates span from the late 20th to early 21st century, including examples from 1998, 2013, 2016, and 2019. Recognizable commemorative themes include ‘THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN, ‘ ‘PETER RABBIT, ‘ and ‘Paddington Bear.’
