A pair of framed carved wooden African tribal masks in shadow boxes. Each figure, depicting a stylized face or bust with an ethnic or tribal aesthetic, is painted predominantly in red and black and mounted against a corrugated light brown matting. The figures are housed under glass within matching dark brown wooden frames, which feature a raised, organic carved or embossed pattern. The reverse of the frames is backed with hardboard panels and fitted with sawtooth hangers, indicating they are ready for wall display.
