A rectangular ceramic flask or bottle, glazed and fitted with a ridged brass-toned screw cap. The front features a polychrome transfer-printed genre scene depicting figures in 18th-century style dress, with text along the base reading “Cries of London ‘Hot Cross Buns’ Yellow Primroses.” The reverse displays a black transfer-printed label reading “ORLANDO Cherry Brandy 42° PROOF,” an indistinct signature/logo, and “AIDEE LIQUEURS NEWTON RD, BOVEY TRACEY ENGLAND.” The object’s style is consistent with early to mid-20th century commercial pottery.
