A Chinese blue and white rice grain dragon bowl, likely from Jingdezhen, accompanied by a smaller rustic ceramic bowl. The larger bowl is crafted from white porcelain, featuring a ‘linglong’ translucent rice grain pattern around its body. It is decorated in underglaze blue, with its interior base depicting a detailed five-clawed dragon encircled by concentric blue bands. The rim is adorned with a decorative band of repeated stylized auspicious characters, likely variations of ‘Shou’ (longevity). The smaller, shallower bowl is of coarser ceramic construction, presenting a pale cream-colored interior. It features a dark blue underglaze abstract design, possibly floral or calligraphic, surrounded by a blue band at the rim.
