A group of three decorative items, comprising an Indian brass and mother-of-pearl powder pot, a Japanese ceramic bowl, and a mother-of-pearl box. The small lidded powder pot is of a brass or bronze-toned metal, resting on three ornate feet, with a tessellated mother-of-pearl inlay covering its lid, topped by a stylized metal finial. The ceramic bowl features a textured, multi-colored pebble-effect exterior with a smooth yellow glazed interior, and is marked “MADE IN JAPAN” on its unglazed base. The oblong hinged box is completely covered in iridescent mother-of-pearl veneer, lined with black velvet, and contains a small silver-toned animal charm (possibly a bear or boar) and a polished oval silver-toned locket or pendant.
