A group of two decorative ceramic or porcelain items from the Goebel Artis Orbis series. The first is a rectangular dish or plaque featuring a printed image of a young girl fishing from a wooden dock on a lake, framed by a light blue border with a gold-tone rim. The front is marked “Carl Larsson” in gold script. The reverse bears a label identifying it as “Goebel Artis Orbis Carl Larsson Lisbeth Fishing” and states “Not to be used for food.” The second item is a round lidded box, decorated with a water lily motif on a blue ground in the style of Claude Monet. The lid is signed “Claude Monet” in gold script. The base is marked “Goebel Artis Orbis Claude Monet Effet du soir” (Evening effect) and also indicates “Not to be used for food.”
