A vintage navy blue textured suitcase with tarnished brass-toned hardware and a plaid fabric lining, opening to reveal a collection of approximately nine smaller items. Prominently featured is a King Edward Invincible Deluxe tobacco tin, marked ‘A Distinctive Blend of Fine Tobaccos’ and featuring a portrait of a man. The collection also includes a heavily rusted rectangular metal tin marked ‘PARKINSON PURE CONFECTION DONCASTER’ topped with a small, light-colored woven block, a light blue square box inscribed ‘KIT HEAVEN,’ and a rectangular brass-toned hinged box. Further contents comprise a rectangular wooden tray containing a small octagonal bronze-toned box, a smaller white-lidded rectangular tin, and a rectangular dark burled wood box. A rectangular orange-brown lacquered box with a painted floral motif is also present. The items collectively suggest a mid-20th-century period.
