A group of three decorative collector’s plates, likely of 20th or 21st-century origin, crafted from fine bone china. The lot includes:
1. A Royal Albert ‘Chelsea Bouquet’ plate, designed by Sara Anne Schofield (signed ‘SAS’). This plate features a vibrant wreath of various floral species, including orchids and other blossoms, and has a scalloped edge with a gold-painted rim. It was produced as part of a series commissioned for “A Bouquet for The Queen Mother” in a limited edition of 95 firing days. Explicitly stated “NOT INTENDED FOR FOOD USE.”
2. A plate titled “Winter Wonderland” from the “Birds of the Seasons” collection, signed “Nen Cox” (Neil Cox). This circular plate depicts a robin in a snowy winter landscape with snowdrops and features an intact gilt rim. It was produced for Doughty Mint and Royal Worcester.
3. A plate titled “Morning Calls,” signed “Pollyanna Pickering.” This circular plate shows a robin on a snow-dusted plant against a blue background, with an intact gilt rim. It is a 2004 limited edition for Doughty Mint/Otter House.
All three plates are fitted with wire hangers.
