A decorative ceramic plaque by Rochenaal, featuring an illustration derived from the well-known Currier & Ives print ‘Wild Duck Shooting’. This rectangular plaque depicts a male hunter kneeling and petting a hunting dog in a natural setting. The glazed surface exhibits a pronounced, intentional crackle finish. The perimeter features rough, irregular edges, suggesting a natural stone or slate-like backing. Two drilled holes are present along the bottom edge, presumably for mounting. The name ‘ROCHENAAL’ is visible in the bottom right corner of the illustration.
