A Vintage Empoli Art Glass Lidded Peacock Blue Candy Compote. This lidded jar features a deep teal or peacock blue glass, a globular body, and a narrow neck. The elaborate lid is adorned with multiple applied, crimped glass bands creating a ruffled, decorative effect and forming a small finial. The base exhibits a visible pontil mark, indicative of hand-blown construction.
