A vintage ENVOY photographic enlarger, likely dating to the mid-20th century. The enlarger features a substantial wooden base supporting a tall, vertical metallic column. A black textured enlarger head, bearing an embossed oval plate marked ‘ENVOY’, is vertically adjustable along this column. The head unit houses a light source with an illuminated bulb and a bellows-equipped lens assembly. The lens is distinctly marked ‘TAYLOR-HOBSON 2 INCH F/3.5 ENTAL II’. A red filter is visible beneath the lens. A small metal plate affixed to the wooden base displays the number ‘9480’. The item is constructed primarily from metal and wood.
