The lot comprises a vintage wooden box with a carved border on its lid, featuring an interior label reading “Model by LESNEY ENGLAND”. The box contains a collection of numerous circulated British imperial coins, predominantly bronze/copper issues from the reigns of Edward VII and George V, identifiable by inscriptions such as “EDWARDVS DEI GRA BRITT OMN REX FID DEF IND IMP” and “GEORGIVS V DEI GRA BRITT OMN REX FID DEF IND IMP”. Also present are a few dissimilar silver-colored tokens or coins and a red postage stamp. Accompanying these items are three red marbled writing instruments with gold-tone accents, a cased set of two silver-toned writing instruments, and a silver-colored die-cast model of a vintage open-top automobile, identified as a Lesney product.
