The padlock displays a keyhole and is clearly marked with English hallmarks, including an anchor symbol for the Birmingham Assay Office, a lion passant for sterling silver standard, a lowercase ‘s’ date letter, and an additional, partially obscured mark. The padlock’s shackle is visible in an open position.
