The coins are primarily silver-colored, though one on the cover appears gold-toned. Visible text indicates the coins are made of Cupro-Nickel, with denominations including Five Shillings, Twenty-Five pence and Five Pounds. Key inscriptions include “ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 1977” (Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith), “FAITH AND TRUTH I WILL BEAR UNTO YOU” (from the coronation oath), and “AMOR POPULI PRAESIDIUM REG” (The love of the people is the protection of the ruler).
