A pair of British bimetallic Two Pound coins. The first coin, dated 2016, is identified through web intelligence as a William Shakespeare ‘Skull and Rose’ coin, part of the Shakespeare’s Tragedies series. Its reverse features a skull adorned with a rose, encircled by the text ‘WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE 2016’. The second coin, dated 2012, commemorates the Olympic games, with its reverse displaying a stylized athletic figure holding a torch, inscribed ‘LONDON 2012 RIO 2016’. Both coins feature the right-facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on their obverses, with the inscription ‘ELIZABETH II D G REG F D’ and ‘TWO POUNDS’ or ‘2 POUNDS’.
