Lot 39: Vintage African Carved Ebony Wood Hunter Figurine with Implements
Not sold
A dark carved wooden figurine depicting a standing male figure in an apparent tribal style. The figure features an elongated head, prominent facial features, and a stern expression. It wears carved patterned shorts and a sash, standing on an integral, roughly textured rectangular base. The piece is designed to hold two separate, dark carved wooden implements: a long staff or spear with a stylized head, and a shorter, leaf-shaped object. A faint “M” or “W” marking is visible on the top surface of the base.
