This is the United Kingdom’s first ever £20 coin, issued by The Royal Mint in 2013 as part of the ‘A Timeless First’ series, featuring the iconic St George and the Dragon motif. The coin is struck in 999 Fine Silver and presented in its original sealed Royal Mint packaging, which prominently displays a Union Jack background and the Royal Mint logo. The reverse of the coin depicts St George slaying the dragon with the year “2013,” while the obverse features Queen Elizabeth II’s portrait and the inscription “ELIZABETH II D G REG F D TWENTY POUNDS.” The packaging further identifies it as “The George and The Dragon 2013 UK £20 Fine Silver Coin” and specifies its Brilliant Uncirculated quality.
