A dark-stained mahogany occasional or hall table, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, exhibiting Art Nouveau or Arts and Crafts stylistic influences. The table features a rectangular top, a single central drawer, and a lower rectangular shelf. It is supported by four tapering square-section legs connected by an arched apron at the front. The drawer facade is adorned with a central lighter wood inlay depicting a stylized heart or organic motif, flanked by two ornate metal mounts, possibly bronze or brass. A measuring ruler is present in the foreground for scale.
