Description
A covered tureen by Imperial Baker & Co. Ltd. England, dating to the early to mid-20th century. This white glazed ceramic or porcelain tureen features a traditional form with a dark blue (cobalt) band and gold trim accents on the rims of both the bowl and the domed lid. The handles and lid finial are also accented with gold. The lid includes a cut-out notch designed for a serving ladle. The base is marked in gold with ‘IMPERIAL’ arced above a crown emblem, followed by ‘BAKER & CO LTD ENGLAND’.
