A Legle Limoges demitasse cup and saucer set, crafted from porcelain. The set features an ornate decorative style with extensive real gold gilding. The white ground is embellished with a wide band of intricate blue and black scrolling and geometric motifs, punctuated by clusters of pink roses, visible on both the cup and saucer, including the cup’s rim and handle. The underside of both pieces is marked in black script with “LE GLE,” “Porcelaine d’Art,” “LIMOGES FRANCE,” and “Simili Incrustation Or Véritable,” indicating “LE GLE, Art Porcelain, LIMOGES FRANCE, Simulated Incrustation Real Gold.”
