A Post-Medieval cast copper alloy hooked tag or clasp. The object features a distinct suspension loop at the top, a broad, somewhat shield or heart-shaped body, and a tapering projection at the base, consistent with a hooked fastener. The obverse displays a central, deeply cast relief of a stylized, possibly anthropomorphic or mask-like face, surrounded by concentric raised lines or decorative elements. The reverse is comparatively plain with a central depression or boss. The object is formed from a copper alloy.
