A Wick-Werke German salt-glazed stoneware pitcher, featuring the inscription ‘Trinkt Wie Eure Vater Aus’. Predominantly grey with cobalt blue relief decoration, the design depicts stylized grapevines, grape clusters, and two male figures, one appearing to hold grapes. Encircling the lower body is the German inscription “TRINKT WIE EURE VATER AUS,” which translates to “DRINK AS YOUR FATHERS DID.” The base bears a faint, stylized mark resembling an “M” or “W,” consistent with Wick-Werke production. The piece is consistent with late 19th or early 20th-century German folk art style.
