An Mdina Glass ‘Blue Summer’ Maltese Cross vase, dating from the 1970s. The piece features a bulbous body, a flared rim, and a small clear glass loop handle on one side. It is crafted from translucent turquoise/teal glass, intricately speckled with metallic brown-gold inclusions. An applied clear glass medallion with a starburst design, characteristic of the ‘Maltese Cross’ pattern, is prominent on the upper body. The vase retains its original rectangular paper label, clearly marked ‘MDINA GLASS MALTA’ with a Maltese cross logo, confirming its origin.
