Lot 44: Late 19th/Early 20th Century 'David Copperfield' Statuette
Not sold
A figurative statuette depicting two male figures, an older gentleman in a top hat and long coat, alongside a smaller, younger figure, possibly a boy, with a stack of books at his feet. The base is designed to resemble a book spine, bearing the clearly legible inscription “David Copperfield” in relief. The piece is likely cast metal such as spelter, or a resin composite with a bronzed finish, evoking late 19th to early 20th-century Victorian literary themes.
