A set of three graduated ceramic jugs by Homer Laughlin in the ‘Mexicana’ pattern, dating to the circa 1940s. Each jug features a stylized, colorful landscape decoration depicting houses, rolling hills, trees, and clouds in a palette of orange, blue, green, red, and black on an ivory body. Each is accented with an orange-glazed rim and handle. The base of one jug bears the impressed or printed mark “PRIMROSA” and “MADE IN ENGLAND”.
The largest jug measures approximately 15.5 cm (6.1 inches) in height. The medium and smallest jugs are correspondingly scaled.
