A pair of vintage Chinese silk embroidered panels, each depicting a vibrant natural scene. The top panel features birds, a pheasant, a rising sun, and various flora including plum blossoms, with visible characters “鸟语花香” (Niǎo yǔ huā xiāng), translating to “Birdsong and floral fragrance.” The bottom panel portrays two peacocks perched on a plum blossom branch, accompanied by characters “雅集千古” (Yǎ jí qiān gǔ), meaning “Timeless elegant gathering,” alongside a red seal mark. Both works are executed with multi-colored silk thread on a light-colored fabric, likely silk or satin, and are presented under glass within simple gold-toned metallic frames.
