Lot 169: Ottoman key 17th century
Not sold
An Ottoman 17th Century Constructed from iron or a similar base metal, the object features an irregular, somewhat pointed oval bow with a circular opening, a thick, rounded shaft, and a simple, L-shaped bit at the far end. The entire surface is significantly pitted and encrusted with a thick, dark brown to black patina, indicative of long-term environmental exposure. No specific text, symbols, or manufacturing marks are discernible due to the extensive surface degradation.
