A George III lead or lead alloy cloth seal, dated 1805. Circular in form with a distorted, folded element at the top, consistent with its function as a bale or cloth seal. One side features a central rectangular shield bearing a rampant lion motif, likely heraldic, within a circular border. The opposing side clearly displays the raised numerals “1805” with a partially legible inscription above, appearing to be “ALLE” or “ALLO”.
