A set of five Royal Doulton ‘Old Country Crafts’ collector plates, predominantly dated 1990 and 1991, with one plate dated 1991. Each ceramic plate features a distinct polychrome illustration by artist Susan Neale, depicting nostalgic, idealized rural village scenes and traditional trades. The series includes “The Spinner,” “The Blacksmith,” “The Thatcher,” “His Hand to the Plough,” and “The Wheelwright.” The plates bear a Royal Doulton backstamp and were produced by Bradford Exchange as part of a limited edition of “150 firing days,” each with accompanying descriptive text and the artist’s signature on the reverse.
