This lot comprises approximately nine assorted vintage and antique metal tins, predominantly tin, encompassing a variety of styles and functions. Included is an Art Nouveau-style embossed tin labeled “FARRAH’S HARROGATE ENGLAND.” The collection also features several decorative tins with chinoiserie, oriental floral, and bird motifs, one of which is specifically marked “C•W•S CREAM CRACKERS CRUMPSALL – CARDIFF” on its interior lid. A utilitarian blue “THRIFT BOX” is present, featuring labeled slots for “RENT,” “COAL,” “GAS,” and “ELECTRICITY.” Further items include a small “Rexall THROAT PASTILLES” tin from “UNITED-REXALL DRUG CO., LTD. NOTTINGHAM, MADE IN ENGLAND,” a cylindrical “CARBORUNDUM” tin, and a more modern round tin with a butterfly design from “The Countryside Collection by Bradshaw-Bowman.”
