Lot 80: A Group of Six Assorted Vintage Files and Rasps

The lot comprises six assorted hand tools, specifically files and rasps, each constructed with a metal blade and a wooden handle. Five of the handles retain a natural wood tone, while one features a dark-stained or painted finish. The metal blades exhibit various patterns of teeth and rasps, consistent with tools designed for shaping or abrading materials. While no manufacturer’s marks are discernible on the tools themselves, similar vintage lots of files and rasps often include examples by prominent makers such as Nicholson.
