An ornate sterling silver vesta case. This small, rectangular, hinged case is crafted from sterling silver. Its exterior is extensively decorated with deeply engraved curvilinear scrollwork and foliate motifs, framed by a dotted border, encompassing both the body and the hinged lid. An attached ring at one end suggests it was designed to be carried or suspended.
