Lot 147: Silver Marcasite and Red Gemstone Cluster Ring
Sold for: £9
A silver cluster ring featuring a prominent oval-cut, deep red gemstone set within a scalloped, petal-like bezel. This central stone is encircled by a halo of small, dark, faceted accent stones, consistent in appearance with marcasite. The deep red gemstone is consistent with garnet or a simulant thereof. The interior of the ring’s band is clearly marked “SILVER”, with an additional partial, indistinct mark visible adjacent to it.
