Constructed from dark-stained wood, the piece features a deeply carved pediment-style top and three open shelves with brass-toned rails. The base unit comprises two paneled cupboard doors flanking three central drawers. The cupboard doors are extensively carved with armorial crests, each depicting a shield flanked by mythical winged creatures. Visible text on the crest banners includes “FIDE ET FORTITUDINE” (By Faith and Fortitude) and “VIGILATE ET ORATE” (Watch and Pray). Hardware consists of small brass-toned drawer pulls and dark metal ring pulls on the doors.
