A Paul Vincze William Shakespeare 400th Anniversary commemorative medallion, dated 1564-1964. The larger, darker base-metal medallion features a profile bust of William Shakespeare on the obverse, encircled by the text “WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE”. The reverse depicts a coat of arms with a spear, flanked by the dates “1564” and “1964”, and inscribed “SHAKESPEARE QUATER-CENTENARY”. Accompanying the medallion is a smaller, silver-toned British 10 Pence coin, displaying three lions passant guardant and partial “PENCE” text.
