A Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Crown Commemorative Five Shilling Coin, 1953. This coin is presented alongside a collection of approximately eleven additional numismatic items, primarily British Commonwealth coinage, and one ancient coin. The British examples are predominantly silver-colored metal, with some darker, possibly bronze or copper pieces. They depict portraits of King George V, King George VI, and Queen Victoria, with visible inscriptions including “GEORGIVS V DEI GRA BRITT OMN REX F D IND IMP,” “GEORGIVS VI DEI GRA BRITT OMN REX F D IND IMP,” “VICTORIA,” “ONE SHILLING 1960,” “SIX PENCE 1959,” and “1898.” Reverse designs feature heraldic shields, crowns, and floral motifs. The collection spans from the late 19th to mid-20th century. The collection also includes a particularly dark and heavily corroded ancient coin, bearing a laureate bust and partial inscription “IMP M,” suggesting a Roman Imperial origin.
