Lot 135: A Collection of Lilliput Lane Hand-Painted Miniature Cottages and Shops
Sold for: £18
A collection of Lilliput Lane hand-painted miniature architectural models, primarily representing traditional English-style cottages and shops. Crafted from resin or a similar cold-cast material, specific examples include a thatched-roof ‘Toys’ shop, a ‘Bakery’ marked ‘Mrs C. Bunn Est. 1785’, and ‘The China Shop’, along with other residential-style cottages. Many models are presented in their original ‘Lilliput Lane’ branded boxes, featuring red, green, and striped designs, some noting ‘Handmade in England’ and ‘Collectors Club’, with one box specifying ‘The Chocolate Shop’ and a handwritten ‘Victoria Cottage’.
