Lot 116: Three Antique English Copper Lustre Lusterware Jugs, with 24K Gold Accents
Sold for: £14
A group of three antique English copper lustreware jugs, described in the market as having 24K gold accents. This lot comprises a pair of taller jugs, identically styled with relief-molded figures and elaborate foliate scrollwork, highlighted by vibrant teal-green enamel accents. The third, smaller jug features a globular body with a plainer bronze-toned luster finish, surmounted by a cobalt blue band detailed with stylized gold and red foliate patterns. All pieces are crafted from ceramic with a metallic luster glaze, characteristic of English lustreware.
