A collection of vintage Stanley woodworking tools, comprising two metal-bodied hand planes identified as a Stanley No. 4 and a Stanley No. 4 1/2 bench plane, both with wooden knobs and handles. Also included are two Stanley metal spokeshaves, one explicitly marked ‘STANLEY No. 80’, the other marked ‘STANLEY’, with the No. 80 spokeshave presented in a plain cardboard box. The accompanying publication is ‘The Stanley book of designs for making your own furniture’, a red softcover book featuring a mid-20th century style family on its cover. All tools are constructed primarily from cast iron or steel with wooden elements.
