A group of three Hofbauer ‘The Byrdes Collection’ ruby-flashed, cut-to-clear crystal items, comprising a footed compote or vase, a hand bell, and a small footed cordial or shot glass. Each piece features a prominent deep ruby red layer, intricately cut through to reveal clear glass beneath, forming detailed motifs of a bird on a branch amidst stylized foliage, complemented by geometric faceting, diamond, and star-cut patterns. The clear glass sections on the stems and bases also display elaborate geometric cutting. The style is characteristic of Bohemian or Czech artistry.
