A group of three medals, including examples of Tug of War medals by Pinches. The first, gold-toned, possibly brass or gilt, features ‘IVYBRIDGE COLLEGE’ and ‘SOUTH MOOR’ surrounding a central image of a bridge or viaduct. The second, bronze-toned, displays ‘COLLEGE’ and ‘B.A.N.D.I.N.G.’ around a shield-like crest containing the Latin motto ‘LABOR OMNIA VINCIT’ (Work conquers all). The third, also bronze-toned, features a detailed relief of a male figure engaged in agricultural labor, possibly ploughing or digging, consistent with historical Tug of War medal designs.
