A mixed collection of primarily British and French coinage, composed of various copper-alloy and base metal denominations. The British coins feature portraits of monarchs including George V, George VI, and Elizabeth II, bearing Latin inscriptions such as “DEI GRA REX ET IND IMP” and “ELIZABETH II D G REG F D”. Visible denominations include ‘ONE PENNY’, with one coin dated 1945. The French coins display “REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE” with denominations in ‘FRANCS’ and ‘CENTIMES’. Some coins are housed in clear plastic capsules, while others are loose. Accompanying the coins is a blue album or binder and several black cardboard holders, one branded “Midland Bank” and another “Gas Warm Homes”.
