A vintage sterling silver medal presented within its original rectangular, blue-covered hinged box lined with dark blue velvet. The medal’s obverse features a raised design depicting a swimmer in a diving posture entering water with ripples. The reverse is engraved “1ST. PLUNGING 6/R.T.C.” encircled by a laurel wreath. Below the wreath, clear hallmarks are visible, including “NAAFI,” a lion passant confirming sterling silver, an anchor indicating the Birmingham assay office, and a date letter ‘g’, corresponding to the year 1931-32. The inside lid of the presentation box prominently displays the “NAAFI” logo with a crown and the inscription “SERVING THE SERVICES SINCE 1921.”
