A Border Fine Arts cold-cast resin sculpture, dated 1993, depicting three birds. The polychrome figurine features a chaffinch, a blue tit with spread wings, and a robin, nestled amidst green foliage and orange flowers on a textured, rocky base. Crafted from cold-cast resin or a similar composite material, the sculpture is intricately painted and mounted on a polished dark wood plinth. The base of the sculpture bears the markings ‘BORDER FINE ARTS SCULPTURE © 1993’ and an inscribed signature ‘AYRES HH’. Accompanied by its original box, which reads ‘Border FINE ARTS Society’ and ‘Craftsmanship in Sculpture’.
